Is there a way to adjust the volume control in Windows Media Player other than in increments of ten? With Winamp, adjusting volume using the arrow keys adjusts the volume in very small increments which is great If you're using Jaws plus headphones and want music on a very low setting. However, using the F8 and F9 keys on Windows Media Player adjusts the volume in increments of ten which, even on the lowest setting, still distracts me from Jaws. I would just use Winamp -- but I'm trying to stream audio using a filetype Winamp apparently does not support. I'm thinking there has to be a better way to manually adjust the volume in Windows Media Player but I can't for the life of me figure out how.
Thoughts?
Tab to volume and then use the arrow keys there. More stuff to do, but it helps get it better. It moves in 5's instead of 10's with the arrow keys. Maybe crank of the main volume on the computer, then move the players volume down.
